4 COVID-19 GoFundMe Campaigns You Can Donate To Right Now

We’re partnering with GoFundMe to promote COVID-19 relief efforts.

By now it’s clear how we can all help flatten the curve: stay home, practice proper personal hygiene, wear a mask while outdoors and - oh yeah - did we mention stay home?

While the impact of these fairly simple tasks might seem invisible, it’s impossible to overestimate how important they are to protecting our community. If, however, you’re craving an immediate, tangible impact on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic - we have you covered.

Nativo partnered with GoFundMe and our extensive marketplace of premium publishers to highlight top GoFundMe coronavirus relief funds. The goal? Raise awareness and increase donations for those who need it most. Check out - and donate - to some of the amazing relief efforts below.

The Mental Health Fund

The effect of COVID-19 on our physical health is well documented - but the influence of this singular situation on our mental health is less obvious, and likely more sustained.

In response to a 40% increase in volume during March alone, Crisis Text Line, Shout UK, Kids Help Phone and Spunout.ie created The Mental Health Fund. Each organization provides crisis intervention via text message to those struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, domestic violence, eating disorders or other mental health challenges 24/7 without fees, judgement or app downloads.

Support those providing vital comfort and guidance during a stressful situation.

Small Business Relief Fund

COVID-19 hit small business hard, with a disproportionate amount of impact leveled against businesses reliant on foot traffic to survive. Your favorite nail salon, pizza joint and bakery are in crisis - and they need your help.

Part of the Small Business Relief Initiative: a program supported by GoFundMe, Yelp and Intuit QuickBooks, the Small Business Relief Fund will provide qualifying small businesses with micro-grants during this singular situation. The Small Business Relief Initiative will supply financial assistance and support to businesses across the country by providing grants, tools and resources to help during the crisis.

It’s never a bad time to support small businesses - but now is when it could matter most.

Frontline Responders Fund

Frontline responders are the true heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic, working day and night to protect and preserve the health of millions; however, they’re currently facing a dangerous lack of personal protective equipment (PPE). Companies around the world are pitching in to fill the manufacturing gap, but there are gaps between a company’s supply and a hospital’s front door.

Flexport.org is currently working with every major trucking company, airline, medical supplier and everyone in between to respond to surges in supply needs and get these desperately needed supplies quickly from point A to point B.

Functioning at the point of intersection for companies to move critical supplies from the factory and get them to frontline responders, the company is working to deliver aid and make an impact.

Help frontline responders receive the personal protective equipment they need.

America’s Food Fund

Approximately 37 million people struggled with food insecurity prior to  the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact of this unimaginable situation continues to reverberate throughout our communities, and those most vulnerable - children who are out of school and rely on school lunch programs, low-income families, the elderly and individuals facing job disruptions - face unseen obstacles to finding their next meal.

America’s Food Fund - launched by Leonardo DiCaprio, Laurene Powell Jobs and Apple, along with the Ford Foundation - ensures all people have reliable access to food. Its first two beneficiaries are World Central Kitchen and Feeding America, and the fund will continue monitoring food gaps to assess additional organizations and businesses that can help meet the growing need.

Join in the fight to ensure that no child, family or individual is left without access to food.
